This identity was created for #1morekm, a running group that started on Twitter by people who love to run just to have fun and stay healthy. At first it was a spontaneous gathering, but it soon became a regular meeting every Sunday, as more and more runners expressed interest to join in.
The deconstruction of the team’s name pointed out two focal points for the logo: the hashtag # which reflects Twitter, where the team originally connected, and “1morekm” which stands for staying motivated and going for that extra km without giving up. The goal was to keep the identity simple in form yet full of concept. The two main elements and the plus sign celebrate companionship, motivation and the team’s positive thinking. The slightly tilted symbol is dynamic and shows the team’s intention to keep moving forward.
